Boys in many parts of the world like to chase and catch birds.  In Uzbekistan, this kid had caught a pigeon and proudly showed it off. When Julie painted her memory, Walter seemed like a fun name for her new friend. She likes remembering the spirit of the child with happy colors and background shapes.
