The textures and washes of Julie’s watercolors lead to dynamic designs for apparel, home décor, and paper goods, for fabric, wallpaper, and accessories. To create her unpredictable killer stripes, her imaginative silly “Mable critters”, and her bold unusual repeat patterns, she digitally extracts small pieces from her watercolors and manipulates them into her designs. She continues by making coordinating designs for related purposes. (wallpaper, curtains, towels, tile).
