Cathy, a long time scuba diver and volunteer at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, commissioned me to paint two watercolors including a list of red fish. The project required a great deal of research to learn about these fish and their habitat in coral sea beds. Two very different style paintings emerged from this fascinating assignment. Cathy graciously said I could make reproductions of these two paintings, which I am doing.
