Thomas Mitchell Morris, also known as Old Tom Morris, and The Grand Old Man of Golf, was a Scottish golfer whose name is synonymous with Golf.
He designed between 75 and 88 golf courses, along with golf clubs.. He was born in St Andrews, Fife, the "home of golf" in 1821 and died in 1908. The famous St Andrews Links are located in St Andrews.
